Why do we keep asking you to turn in your Volunteer Hours sheets??
We know it is one more thing to remember, but there is a good reason. All clubs in the Federation of Women’s Clubs are non-profit, designated by the IRS as 501(c)(3) organizations with a list of requirements for maintaining non-profit status. Reporting on the hours we spend on Federation projects and administration is one of those requirements.
When added to the hours every other club in the Federation reports, we justify our status as nonprofits for another year. Your hours can be emailed to us or turned in at the General meeting.
All who turn in their hours will be entered into a drawing for a prize at our monthly meeting. If you have questions - please don't hesitate to ask!
